Luke’s First Baseball Game!

Date July 14, 2011 Posted in Luke Comments 6 Comments »

Last Saturday we went to our first baseball game and saw the Kane County Cougar’s! It was a great time, and they won! We have posted a short video of the event including Luke and Dada running the bases at the end of the game. Also here is a link to all the pics from the game.

Perhaps we have another potential physical education teacher in the family. Luke is learning the rules of the game at a very early age. It looks like the entire family had a great time at the ball park. A typical American family and baseball. Luke has the shirt, the cap and the sun glasses. Now he needs the plastic bat and ball for his birthday or Christmas. Then he’ll be good to go with dad teaching the throw. Batter up, sport fans. With love, Grace

Great video!!! We too have been spending a lot ot time at the ballpark. TJ & Trent both played this year. Trent – T-ball, TJ – baseball. TJ is a catcher, just like Daddy and Grandpa. He’s now playing on a traveling all-star team. We spent 2 days in Bedford over the 4th. Grandpa has been taking him to practive (keeps them both busy). His team won 2nd in league and 2nd in league tournament. TJ caught 12 innings one night and 6 the next night in the heat. TJ is going to play football in Columbus this fall.

Hope to see you all in Effingham for Jessica’s wedding. The boys want to get to know Luke.

    Love & hugs to all.
